Tickets: Tickets: $15, $25, $75*

Join travel guru Rick Steves as he leads a discussion on Travel as a Spiritual Act. Steves is the author of over 50 European travel guidebooks and host of the public television series, Rick Steves’ Europe. He believes that thoughtful travel expands our world view and shapes how we address the challenges confronting our nation. Having spent four months each year overseas for the last 30 years, Rick believes that travel helps us “challenge truths we were raised to think were self-evident and God-given.” Travel also helps us appreciate the spiritual diversity of the planet while nourishing the soul of the traveler as he/she encounters the beautiful and the unique in new and unfamiliar places. His classes have helped millions of Americans not only enjoy maximum travel thrills per kilometer, minute and euro, but become better citizens of our planet. Rick shares how the other 96 percent of humanity sees our nation and explores how his social activism has grown naturally out of his travel experiences.

*$75 tickets include post-show meet and greet with Rick Steves in Studio 2, as well as the 2014 version of his popular guidebook, Europe Through the Back Door.

NOTE: This show is a special event fundraiser. Ticket discounts do not apply.
