Enjoy a night of rockin’ Blues and high-energy performances, as musicians from all over the region come together to pay tribute to veteran bluesman Little Bill Engelhart (“Little Bill & the Bluenotes”) and his music. From the internationally-known Merrilee Rush (“Angel in the Morning”) to slide-guitar ace Henry Cooper, ‘bone man Randy Oxford and “Women In Blues” star Patti Allen, to Junkyard Jane vets Leanne Trevalyan (with the Immanuel Presbyterian Blues Vespers All-Stars) and Billy Roy Danger (with the Rectifiers), the show is a collection of the most gifted musicians the northwest has ever produced.
Each artist will be debuting their own interpretation of a Little Bill composition in music that is as varied as the musicians themselves... some songs rock, others swing, shuffle or glide. There’s some funk, a little rockabilly, but it’s all the blues, baby.
Together, the music presents a glimpse into the life of a man whom many would call the consummate working musician, Little Bill Engelhart.
Proceeds from CD sales benefit the Dystonia Foundation. |
