September 1: Abbots Bromliad (time & location TBA)
Lots of people who come to The Christmas Revels are fascinated by the Abbots Bromley Horn Dance. They miss it if it is not in the production. So we join California Revels and Portland Revels and have ourselves a Bromliad. Come learn the dance and participate in it (or just bring a picnic and watch). We’ll provide musicians and a caller. We’ll do some other English country dances as well. All ages welcome.
September:Tacoma Sings (date & time TBA).
Chihuly Bridge of Glass and the plazas on either side
Inspiration: Architecture is Frozen Music, Music is liquid architecture. (Goethe)
Gather with us for a short concert of traditional autumn material and a few pub songs, then we’ll all “thaw” the Chihuly Bridge of Glass into Song! Song sheets provided. Bring a flashlight or lantern. We’ll light them as the day wanes. All ages welcome.
