Student Programs
A school outing to the theater is a big deal. It's a big deal to plan, to fund, to coordinate bus schedules, chaperones, and build lesson plans that link to the show. The Broadway Center has worked diligently to make this season's Education Programs the biggest deal yet!
As a Kennedy Center Partner in Education, our focus is to bring the best theater and learning experiences to you and your students. Whether you're looking for classic storybook tales, African American history, or an onsite storytelling residency at your school, you'll find it with the Broadway Center. From Japanese Taiko drums mixed with three tone Tibetan throat singing to positive hip hop dance to incredible life size puppetry, the 2009-10 Education Programs promise to be the biggest deal yet!

How It Works
School Performances
To reserve seating for the school day matinees, Broadway Center requires a purchase order, check or credit card at the time of purchase. Seating cannot be reserved without payment. All payments are made on a non-refundable basis. Additionally, a purchase order three weeks in advance of the scheduled event is required. Checks should be made payable to the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts.
To place an order using a school issued purchase order, procurement card or credit card, contact the Broadway Center Box Office at 253.591.5894, Monday through Friday 11am to 6pm and Saturday Noon - 4pm.
Seats are assigned based on the date your order is received. It is strongly recommended that you purchase your seats early for the best chance to secure main floor seating for your class!
School organizations receive top seating priority above audience members who are not affiliated an educational institution.
Please contact Broadway Center's Education Department at 253.591.5341 if you have questions.
