Stuart is a little mouse, born to real human parents in New York City. In this E. B. White fantasy, Stuart enjoys adventures in Central Park as he tries to rescue his friend Margalo, a beautiful bird, from the pursuit of Snowbell, their house cat. This mild mannered mouse copes in a “real person’s world,” by showing that size is not important. It is temperament and ability that count.
